WB 3.9.26:

Lion class have had a lovely first few days at school. We have read stories, completed some sensory massage and TACPAC and have been getting to know our new friends in class. 

 

WB 7.9.26:

Lion Class have starting reading our class book SuperWorm and exploring the props in a sensory story! We loved it. 

 

WB 14.9.26:

Lion Class have enjoyed our first trip out this week! We visited Hartfields and enjoyed the fresh air, seeing new faces and completing some mirror expression work using the iPad.  

 

WB 21.9.26:

This week Lions enjoyed some fun art activities. We used different equipment such as sponges and brushes to make marks on the paper and spread the paint and we also made hand print animals. We created some lovely artwork!

 

WB 28.9.26:

Lion Class had some visitors this week from the Tees Valley Music Service and we loved playing the instruments with them such as strumming the ukulele, banging drums and shaking bells. 

 

WB 5.10.26

This week Lion class have done lots of physio work, had a visit to the library and have tried painting with peas! Pouring peas and paint down a ramp to make patterns on the card. Messy but fun!  

 

WB 12.10.26

This week in Messy Maths we all sang 1 potato, 2 potato and smashed shaving foam with the potato and a potato masher. Messy but great fun! We also had a visit from Shark class to listen to nursery rhymes in a joint communication group. 

 

WB 19.10.26

This week to celebrate Halloween we had a visit from Animal Lab who brought in some spiders, snakes, a tortoise and lots of creepy crawlies. The children loved seeing the animals!

WB 2.11.26 Welcome back Lion class! We hope you had a lovely break. This week we have started reading the new class story Little Red Hen, did lots of physio and exercise and even had a visit from Bamboozle the theatre company who put on a show in class. What a great week!
